PLCTS Time-Domain OCT (TD-OCT) Imaging System
Time-domain OCT is based on the principle of low-coherence interferometry. A broadband, low-coherence light source is directed onto the sample, and the backscattered or reflected signals from different depths within the sample are collected. These signals are then recombined with the reference beam via a fiber coupler and detected by a photodetector.

By measuring the intensity and delay of backscattered light from different tissue depths, TD-OCT reconstructs high-resolution 2D and 3D structural images of biological tissues. The core components include a broadband light source, a Michelson interferometer, and a photodetector.
