Olympus Plan-Apochromat Super Flat-Field Objective (Olympus UPLXAPO Series)

Olympus UPLXAPO Series Plan-Apochromat Super Flat-Field Objectives are Olympus’s next-generation high-performance lenses, combining exceptionally high numerical aperture (NA), broadband chromatic aberration correction, and outstanding image flatness. A high NA delivers superior light-collection efficiency for capturing weak signals, enabling shorter exposure times and higher contrast. Broadband chromatic correction compensates for wavelength-dependent color shifts for remarkably accurate color rendition. These objectives also achieve uniform flat-field performance across a large field of view (FOV), making them ideal for image stitching and quantitative image analysis. They are suited for demanding life-science and clinical applications, including pathology, fluorescence microscopy, multicolor or widefield fluorescence imaging, confocal or super-resolution microscopy, and whole-slide imaging.
