Olympus Super-Corrected Apochromat Objective
(Olympus PLAPON-SC Series)
Olympus introduces the PLAPON60XOSC2 Super-Corrected Apochromat Objective, designed to correct multiple aberrations for pinpoint fluorescence imaging. Each lens comes with measured chromatic data showing axial chromatic error under 0.1 µm from 405 nm to 650 nm. The PLAPON60XOSC2 delivers highly corrected lateral and axial chromatic performance for reliable, accurate 2D/3D imaging and enhanced colocalization analysis.
*1. “Super-corrected” indicates that the PLAPON-SC optics exceed standard apochromatic correction, offering enhanced aberration control.
Broadband chromatic correction: Corrects aberrations from UV through visible to near-IR wavelengths, covering an extended spectrum.
High-precision alignment: Axial chromatic error<0.1 µm between 405 nm–650 nm, ensuring all fluorescence wavelengths focus on the same plane.
For demanding applications: Maintains co-registration and sharpness in multicolor fluorescence and colocalization studies, suitable for rigorous biomedical research and super-resolution imaging.
